O&R Posts New Electric POR Rate, Uncollectible Components for MFCs

Orange & Rockland has filed with the New York PSC updated uncollectibles factors to be used in the electric Purchase of Receivables discount rate and Merchant Function Charges.  

Effective November 1, 2010, the Uncollectibles Percentage and Risk Factor components of the POR Discount Percentage shall be set at 0.402% and 0.080%, respectively.  

The POR Discount Percentage for the period November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2011 shall be set at 1.392%.  

The Uncollectibles Percentages used in the calculation of the Merchant Function Charges are 0.598% for residential customers and 0.142% for non-residential customers, effective November 1, 2010.
