Just Energy Network Marketer Entering Illinois
Just Energy's network marketing arm, Momentis, said that it is expanding its services to the Illinois natural gas market, in the Peoples Gas, North Shore Gas, and Nicor service areas.

 

NetGain Energy Advisors Seeks Pa. Broker Licenses
NetGain Energy Advisors (organized as NRGing, LLC) applied for both Pennsylvania electric and natural gas broker/marketer licenses to serve commercial customers above either 25 kW or 6,000 Mcf annually, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas.


Commercial and Industrial Energy Solutions Receives Md. Broker License
The Maryland PSC granted Commercial and Industrial Energy Solutions, LLC an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers in all service areas.  Though a separate entity, Commercial and Industrial Energy Solutions shares owners with North American Power, and was developed to broker loads requiring a complex or customized product that North American Power may not offer.


Polaris Energy Receives Conn. Aggregation License
The Connecticut DPUC granted Polaris Energy, LLC an electric aggregator certificate to serve residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and governmental customers.


DPUC Approves CL&P LRS Procurement
The Connecticut DPUC approved Connecticut Light & Power's Last Resort Service procurement for supplies for the three-month period beginning January 1, 2011.  Retail pricing is to be published by November 17, 2010.



Pepco, Delmarva Issue SOS RFPs
Pepco issued an RFP for SOS supplies in the amount of 280 MW for District of Columbia customers for the delivery term beginning June 1, 2011.  Peak load contributions by customer class include approximately 176 MW for residential customers, 16 MW for small commercial customers, and 87 MW for large commercial customers.  The contracts awarded for the 176 MW in residential load and 16 MW in small commercial load are for three years and those for 87 MW in large commercial load will be for two years.  Delmarva Power also issued an RFP for Delaware SOS supplies in the amount of 470 MW for the period beginning June 1, 2011.  Peak load contributions by customer class include approximately 270 MW for the combined Residential, Small Commercial and Industrial customers; 160 MW for the Medium General Service-Secondary (MGS-S) customers; 15 MW for the Large General Service-Secondary (LGS-S) customers; and 25 MW for the General Service-Primary (GS-P) customers.
