Champion Energy Services and the Energy Cooperative Association of Pennsylvania are among the suppliers which have announced pricing for their entry into the PECO residential electric market.

Champion is offering a 12-month fixed price of 9.42¢ per kWh for Rate R customers.  The product includes an early cancellation fee of $10 per month remaining on the contract.

The Energy Cooperative Association of Pennsylvania, which has been selling renewable power at a premium in the PECO mass market while rate caps have been in place, said that it would offer a rate 7% off PECO's Price to Compare.

PECO's Prices to Compare were first reported in Matters Friday morning.

Palmco Power has entered the PECO residential market as well, with a variable rate offering.  Currently, Palmco's price, as listed on PAPowerSwitch, is 5.781¢ per kWh, priced to be competitive with the current capped PECO rate of 6.8¢.
