Reliant Energy Receives Maryland Electric License
The Maryland PSC granted Reliant Energy an electric supplier license to serve commercial and industrial customers at all of the investor-owned utilities.  Reliant's application was first reported in Matters (9/9).

Etheredge Partners Receives Md. Broker License
The Maryland PSC granted Etheredge Partners, LLC an electric broker license to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers

Open Market Energy Receives Md. Broker License, Fined $100
The Maryland PSC granted Open Market Energy, LLC a natural gas broker license to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers in all service areas.  The Commission also fined Open Market Energy $100 for brokering without the requisite license.

U.S. Sun Energy Receives Md. Broker License
The Maryland PSC granted U.S. Sun Energy, Inc. an electric broker license to serve commercial customers in all service areas.

Capitol Area Energy Receives Texas Aggregator License
The PUCT granted Capitol Area Energy, Inc. an electric aggregator certificate.

Power Brokers LLC Receives Md. Broker License
The Maryland PSC granted Power Brokers LLC an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers in all service areas.  The entity Power Brokers LP had previously been granted a Maryland license.
