Gateway Energy Services Releases PECO Residential Pricing

Gateway Energy Services has announced residential pricing for the PECO service area.

Gateway is offering Rate R customers a six-month fixed rate of 8.9¢/kWh through June 30, 2011, effective with the December billing cycle.  The price, 10% lower than PECO's price to compare for the first quarter, is also the first public residential offer to break the 9¢ barrier in the PECO territory for service in 2011.

Gateway is offering a $50 Visa prepaid card to customers enrolling online for the fixed rate plan.

The fixed price product includes an early termination fee of $12.50 per month for each full or partial month remaining in the initial term.

Gateway is also offering Rate R customers a monthly variable rate which is currently priced at 9.2¢/kWh.  As is standard in Gateway's markets, Gateway offers a military discount on the variable price as well.
