BGE Files to Remove Minimum Stay with Gas Supplier
Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed with the Maryland PSC revisions to its Gas Service Tariff to remove a provision from Rate Schedules C and D that requires customers to remain with a supplier for at least three months prior to switching to another supplier.  "BGE has elected to remove this provision to enable a customer to switch to another supplier at any time," BGE said.


GearyEnergy Receives Maine Electric License
The Maine PUC granted GearyEnergy, LLC a competitive electricity provider license to furnish supplier services to medium and large non-residential customers in all service areas. (11/8).


UI Reports Default Service Suppliers
United Illuminating reported that the following suppliers will serve a portion of its Standard Service load during 2011: Constellation Energy Commodities Group, Inc. DTE Energy Trading, Inc.; Hess Corporation; PPL EnergyPlus, LLC; PSEG Energy Resources & Trade LLC; and Sempra Energy Trading LLC.  Hess Corporation will serve 100% of United Illuminating's Last Resort Service load for the first quarter of 2011.
