Planet Energy Taking Steps for New York Market Entry
Planet Energy (New York) Corp. has filed an application for market-based rate authority with FERC.  According to the New York PSC, Planet Energy has also completed Phase I EDI testing.  Aside from its Canadian affiliates which market electricity and natural gas in several provinces, Planet Energy (New York) Corp.'s affiliates include Planet Energy (Pennsylvania) Corp. and Planet Energy (Maryland) Corp, the latter of which filed for a Maryland supplier license earlier this week (11/23).  Both subsidiaries are also seeking market-based rate authority from FERC.


Rosenthal Energy Advisors Seeks Pa. Broker License
Start-up Rosenthal Energy Advisors, Inc. applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.  President James Rosenthal was most recently executive vice president at LPB Energy Management.


Arc Energy Seeks Ohio Broker License
Start-up Arc Energy, Inc. applied for an Ohio electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customers classes in all service areas.


Resource Energy Systems Receives Maine Broker License
The Maine PUC granted Resource Energy Systems, LLC an electric aggregator/broker license to serve large non-residential customers throughout Maine.


Lantern Properties Receives Texas Aggregation License
The PUCT granted Lantern Properties, Inc. an electric aggregator certificate.


Nu Energy Solutions Withdraws Ohio Broker Application
Nu Energy Solutions filed to withdraw its Ohio electric broker application.
