Allegheny Power Files Updated Maryland POR Discount Rates

Allegheny Power has filed an annual tariff update containing a lower residential Purchase of Receivables discount rate in Maryland, but which also includes higher rates for commercial customers.

Under Allegheny's filed tariff, the POR discount rate would be as follows:

SOS Class            Current             New
Residential             1.1306%         0.4920%
Type I                    0.1090%         0.7953%
Type II                   0.0372%         0.2779%
Hourly                   0.0127%         0.0183%

The filed tariff has an effective date of January 10, 2011.
