IDT Energy Offering PPL Residential Service on PA Power Switch
IDT Energy has started listing a market-wide offer for PPL Electric Utilities Rate RS residential customers on PA Power Switch.  On the PA Power Switch website, IDT Energy is offering a monthly variable rate currently priced at 10.4374¢/kWh.  IDT Energy has been offering service at PPL and PECO on a pilot basis and lists residential service under a variable rate plan for both areas on its website, but does not have a PECO offer listed on PA Power Switch.

Mich. PSC Directs Retail Suppliers to File Assessments of Load Requirements
The Michigan PSC has ordered alternative electric suppliers to file by March 31, 2011 a self-assessment of their ability to meet their customers' expected electric requirements in 2011 and address other adequacy-related topics outlined in an order in Case U-16515.  As in past years, each assessment should consider the load-serving entity's expected peak demand, the resources available to meet peak demand, and the amount of expected reserves.
