Dominion Retail Earnings Higher

Dominion Retail recorded $65 million in operating earnings before interest and taxes for the fourth quarter, up from $51 million a year ago.

Total average customer count for the three months ended December 31, 2010 increased to 2.10 million, from 2.07 million as of September 30, 2010, and 1.78 million a year ago.

Operating revenue from non-regulated retail electric sales was $294 million during the fourth quarter, versus $205 million a year ago.  Operating revenue from non-regulated retail gas sales was $247 million, versus $276 million a year ago
