Kansas Energy Receives Ohio Gas License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted
Kansas Energy LLC a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes, including
residential customers, in all service areas (12/28). Since 2002, Kansas Energy LLC
has operated in wholesale marketing & trading, serving natural gas producers, independent
power producers, utilities, industrial users, and other energy wholesalers. Among
those leading Kansas Energy's expansion into retail choice is Randy Bitsky, who joined
Kansas Energy as Vice President of Origination in 2010 after several years in supply
and similar roles at Constellation Energy Group, where Bitsky worked in the Ohio,
Maryland, California, and Texas choice markets. Additionally, Jay Jordan will serve
as a senior trader for Kansas Energy. Jordan was most recently a trader at Integrys
Energy Services.
