Email This Story
February 14, 2011

SCANA Energy reported essentially flat earnings in the fourth quarter of 2010 of $10 million, versus $9 million a year ago, parent SCANA Corp. reported Friday.

As of December 31, 2010 SCANA Energy was serving over 460,000 customers in the Atlanta Gas Light market, compared to 445,000 customers as of September 30, 2010 and approximately 450,000 customers as of December 31, 2009.

For the full year 2010, SCANA Energy reported earnings of $31 million, compared to $24 million in 2009.  The increase was attributable to increased throughput due to colder than normal weather and customer growth.

SCANA Corp. has not yet issued a 10-K.
