Energy Plus Holdings, LLC Begins Offering Residential Service at ComEd

Energy Plus Holdings, LLC has begun offering residential and commercial electric service at Commonwealth Edison.

Energy Plus Holdings, LLC's intention to enter the ComEd residential market was first reported by Matters (1/26).

Consistent with its strategy is other markets, Energy Plus Holdings, LLC is offering a monthly variable rate which is approximately 10% below the current ComEd Electricity Supply Charge plus Transmission Services Charge.

Energy Plus Holdings, LLC's current variable rate is 7.5¢/kWh for Residential Non-Electric Space Heating customers and 7.3¢/kWh for Nonresidential Electric Space Heating customers.

Energy Plus Holdings, LLC also offers a renewable product at ComEd.

According to Energy Plus Holdings, LLC's website, it currently offers 14 rewards/affinity programs as part of its ComEd service, including airline miles with United, American, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, and US Airways, rewards points with Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham, and Best Buy, and cash back.

Energy Plus Holdings, LLC will use utility consolidated billing at ComEd.

At this time, Energy Plus Holdings, LLC is not offering service at Ameren.
