Dynastar Ventures Acquires My Affordable Energy, LLC

Dynastar Ventures, Inc. said yesterday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire
My Affordable Energy, LLC, a Texas-
Though the precise nature of its legal relationship, if any, to Affordable Power is not clear, My Affordable Energy has served as Affordable Power's network marketer and direct selling channel. My Affordable Energy is not a load serving entity.
Representatives of Dynastar Ventures and Affordable Power did not return calls seeking comment.
Under the terms of the agreement, Dynastar will acquire much of the assets of My Affordable Energy under confidential terms. The acquisition will allow Dynastar to directly market and sell electricity services to consumers in Texas, Pennsylvania and New York, which are the markets in which Affordable Power (recently reorganized as AP Gas & Electric) is currently licensed.
"The acquisition of My Affordable Energy's business is the launch pad for Dynastar's entry into the energy services business through our proven direct sales and operational infrastructure," stated Josh Henderson, Chairman and CEO of Dynastar.
Dynastar indicated it would expand service to other states in the near future. It was not immediately clear if, after the acquisition, Dynastar would exclusively sell Affordable Power commodity supply through its direct sales channel, or would include other suppliers as well.
