N.Y. PSC Posts December Electric Migration Stats

The New York PSC has posted electric migration statistics as of December 2010, as well as stats from several other of the later months of 2010.

As of December 2010, residential migration in terms of accounts increased to 19.1% at ConEd, versus 18.6% as of July 2010, which had been the most recently available stats in the market for some time.

Residential migration increased to 18.2% of accounts at Niagara Mohawk versus 15.9% in July.

NYSEG (21.6%), Rochester Gas & Electric (22.4%), and Orange & Rockland (31.7%) all saw incremental gains in residential migration as of December 2010 versus July 2010.

Central Hudson continues to lag the rest of the state in residential migration, at 6.1% of accounts as of December 2010.
