Stream Energy to Announce Fourth State on March 5

Stream Energy said yesterday that it will announce its fourth state for retail energy marketing at its annual conference on March 5. Stream declined to identify the market ahead of the formal announcement. However, it appears that the only market in which Stream is licensed but not yet currently active would be Maryland electricity (see 1/27). Stream's three current states are Texas, Georgia, and Pennsylvania (electric). Stream reported yesterday that it has signed almost 50,000 customers since entering the Pennsylvania electric market four months ago.
