Spark Energy, Superior Plus Post Residential Offers at PPL

Spark Energy and Superior Plus Energy Services, Inc. have both recently posted rates on PA Power Switch for residential service at PPL Electric Utilities.

Previously, each supplier has only offered a residential rate on PA Power Switch in the PECO territory.

Spark is offering PPL residential customers a 12-month fixed rate of 8.483 cents/kWh with no early termination fee.

Superior Plus Energy Services is offering PPL residential customers a fixed rate of 8.81 cents/kWh for 12 months. An early termination fee applies, but the amount was not available. At PECO, Superior Plus has charged an early termination fee of $12 per month remaining on the contract.

Superior Plus also offers a variable rate which for the first month will be 10% lower than the PPL Rate RS Price to Compare, or 8.34 cents/kWh.

Customers of Superior Plus' affiliated heating oil companies are also eligible for lower rates.

Superior Plus is offering a $25 prepaid Visa card for enrollments as well.
