R.I. PUC Approves Narragansett Electric SOS Rates

The Rhode Island PUC has approved updated SOS rates for Narragansett Electric (National Grid), for various periods beginning April 1, 2011.

The fixed residential SOS rate for the nine-month period beginning April 1 is 6.902 cents per kWh.

The fixed price option for commercial customers for the nine-month period beginning April 1, 2011 is 6.999 cents per kWh.

The monthly rate option for commercial customers is as follows:

Commercial Monthly Variable Rates (cents/kWh):
April: 7.144
May: 6.980
June: 6.700
July: 7.089
Aug.: 7.143
Sept.: 6.757
Oct.: 6.878
Nov.: 6.978
Dec.: 7.312

Commercial Classes include G-02, C-06, S-06, S-10, and S-14.

Industrial (G-32, G-62, B-32, B-62, and X-01) rates are only set for the next three months, and are as follows:

Industrial Monthly Variable Rates (cents/kWh):
April: 6.370
May: 6.377
June: 6.250

All rates include the Standard Offer Adjustment Factor, Standard Offer Service Administrative Cost Factor, and Renewable Standard Energy Charge/(Credilt).
