Aero Energy Receives Maryland Gas License

The Maryland PSC granted Aero Energy (organized as Mid-Atlantic Cooperative Solutions, Inc.) a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, in all service areas. Aero Energy is jointly owned by Choptank Electric Cooperative, Adams Electric Cooperative, and Aero employees through a stock ownership plan, and has recently received licenses in several states (12/3).


5Linx Enterprises Receives Maryland Gas Broker License

The Maryland PSC granted 5Linx Enterprises, Inc. a natural gas broker license to serve residential and commercial customers in all service areas except Elkton Gas. 5Linx is a direct/multi-level marketing company that recently expanded to energy and earlier received a Maryland electric license (1/17).


Alphabuyer Seeking Illinois ABC License

Alphabuyer, Inc. applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license. Alphabuyer, which is active in the Pennsylvania market, is led by principals who served as senior directors and managers at GSI Commerce (f/k/a Global Sports Inc), a firm that provides e-commerce and interactive marketing services to several national retail chains (3/21).


Qvinta Maryland Broker Licenses Expanded to Residential Service

The Maryland PSC granted Qvinta, Inc. d/b/a Qvinta Energy Services amended electric and natural gas broker licenses to include service to residential customers.
