YEP Energy Launches Affinity Program Supporting USO

YEP Energy has launched an affinity program under which it will donate care packages to the USO for customer enrollments.

When customers enroll in YEP Energy's "Operation USO Support Our Troops E-Plan", YEP will donate care packages via the USO, which will then be delivered to troops currently serving in combat zones throughout the world, as well as those awaiting deployment. The care packages include prepaid international phone cards, disposable cameras, toiletries, sunscreen, and snacks, as well as letters of gratitude from members of the American public.

The affinity program will be offered with a 6-month and 12-month product, in addition to a variable product.

After the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Department of Defense suspended its practice of forwarding personal care packages from the American public to service members fighting overseas. The USO program allows the public to continue to send care packages, utilizing packages containing only items donated by or purchased from manufacturers in bulk for assembly and distribution.

YEP Energy, a brand of Texpo Power LP, provides retail electricity services to, "tens of thousands of Texans, including residential as well as small and large commercial customers."
