Weekly Residential Migration at PPL Nears 6,000

PPL Electric Utilities saw a 60% increase in its weekly residential migration rate over the past seven days, according to the latest stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 6/1/11 Report versus the 5/25/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks.

At PPL, new residential migration during the most recent week (May 21 to May 27) was 5,707 on a net basis, versus 3,553 in the immediately prior week.

In the holiday-shortened business week of May 24 to May 31, PECO saw 2,621 new residential shoppers, versus 4,407 in the immediately prior week.

West Penn Power saw over 2,000 new residential shoppers during the most recent week, up from 1,500 in the immediately prior week.
