PPL Records Net Growth of 4,600 Residential Shoppers in Past Week

PPL Electric Utilities saw net growth of 4,600 new residential shoppers during the past week, according to the latest stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 6/8/11 Report versus the 6/1/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks.

At PPL, new residential migration during the most recent week (May 28 to June 4) was 4,590 on a net basis, versus 5,707 in the immediately prior week.

The net weekly growth in residential migration at PECO was 3,764 accounts, up from the net growth of 2,621 in the prior week which included a non-business day (Memorial Day) which impacted the timing of meter reads and enrollments.

West Penn Power saw over 2,500 new residential shoppers during the most recent week, up from 2,000 in the immediately prior week, and 1,500 in the week before that.
