Potomac Edison Posts Updated Type II SOS Rates

Potomac Edison (Allegheny) has posted updated Type II generation rates in Maryland as a result of the June 6 SOS procurement.

The new rates are for the period September 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011.

(all rates expressed as cents per kWh except capacity)

Schedule C: General and Commercial Service
Type II SOS:
Energy Charge
First Block (0-350 kWh): 10.886
Second Block (next 350 kWh): 10.701
Third Block (over 700 kWh): 4.192


Schedule G: General Service
Type II SOS:
Capacity Charge
All kW in excess of 7.5 measured as set forth under "Determination of Capacity": $6.89/kW

Energy Charge
First Block (0-700 kWh): 9.048
Second Block (over 700 kWh): 4.190


Schedule C-A: General Service - All Electric
Type II SOS:
Energy Charge
First Block (0-350 kWh): 12.063
Second Block (next 350 kWh): 10.495
Third Block (over 700 kWh): 5.528


Schedule C-A (schools/churches space heating subclass)
Type II SOS:
Energy Charge
All kWh: 6.375


Schedule PH: Light and Power Service
Type II SOS:
Capacity Charge
First Block (0-500 kW): $12.98/kW
Second Block (over 500 kW): $12.65/kW
