Energetix Launches Residential Electric Service at PECO

Energetix has begun offering residential electric supply at PECO.

As only reported in Matters, Energetix entered the Pennsylvania market in January with residential offers at PPL (1/11).

Energetix is offering a variety of products at PECO including:

12 Months Fixed @ 8.95 cents per kWh

12 Months Fixed, 50% renewable @ 9.1 cents per kWh

12 Months Fixed, 100% renewable @ 9.250 cents per kWh

Energetix is also offering two monthly variable options, one of which is purely market based, and another which is half market-based and half fixed. Rates for these products were not immediately available.

Customers may add renewable power to each of the monthly variable options, for an adder of 1.5 mills per kWh for 50% renewable, and 3 mills per kWh for 100% renewable.

All Energetix residential products at PECO include a $35 early termination fee.

The renewable products reflect a mix of low-impact hydro and wind power. Additionally, for every renewable enrollment, Energetix will plant a tree in a U.S. forest damaged by wildfire through a partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.

Customers enrolling online will also receive a check for $25 as an enrollment bonus.
