PECO, PPL, West Penn Power All See Gains in Weekly Residential Migration Rate

PECO, PPL Electric Utilities, and West Penn Power all saw an increase in the weekly rate of residential migration during the most recent week.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 6/29/11 Report versus the 6/22/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks.

At PPL, new residential migration during the most recent week (June 19 to June 25) was 2,493 on a net basis, versus 1,870 in the immediately prior week, but still off from about 5,000 per week in early June.

The net weekly growth in residential migration at PECO was 4,325 for the most recent week, up from 3,203 in the immediately prior week.

West Penn Power continued its month-long growth in the weekly residential gains. For the most recent week, new residential shoppers were 3,984, up from 3,368 a week ago, and 2,500 in each of the prior two weeks.

Duquesne Light saw a relatively stable growth of 1,155 new residential shoppers over the past week.
