StarTex Power Would Pay $30,000 to Settle PUCT Staff Compliance Audit

StarTex Power would pay $30,000 under a settlement with PUCT Staff to resolve allegations that StarTex was not in full compliance with 13 provisions of the Substantive Rules (39560).

The allegations resulted from a Staff compliance audit.

Specifically, Staff alleged that StarTex was not in full compliance with the following:

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.475(c)(2)(G) relating to general contracting requirements.

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.475(e)(2)(E) relating to affirmative consent.

- P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.478(h)(2) relating to deposits

Prior to settlement, StarTex corrected all of the alleged deficiencies
