Verde Energy Seeking to Serve All Illinois Customers

Verde Energy USA Illinois, LLC is seeking to serve all customer classes in all service areas as an Illinois electric supplier, as part of its previously reported supplier application. However, Verde Energy said tha it initially plans to focus on the Commonwealth Edison service area. In its application, Verde Energy said that it has retained GP Renewables & Trading to provide supply procurement support, and will rely on EC Infosystems, Inc. to manage all wholesale business systems processes.

Network marketer 5Linx Enterprises Inc. applied for a Maine electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. 5Linx Enterprises is licensed as an electric broker in Illinois, Maryland (gas as well), Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia, and has a pending gas broker application in Massachusetts.

Global Energy Market Services, LLC applied for a Texas aggregator certificate to pool commercial and industrial customers. Global Energy Market Services is a subsidiary of energy management firm Fellon McCord & Associates

Brakey Energy Retail Seeks Ohio Broker License

Brakey Energy Retail LLC applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas.

Devonshire Energy Seeks N.H. Supplier License

Devonshire Energy LLC has applied for a New Hampshire competitive electric power supplier license. Devonshire Energy operates as a supplier for the sole purpose of serving the electricity needs of parent FMR LLC (Fidelity Investments) and affiliated companies, and its New Hampshire operations would be limited to serving affiliates. Devonshire Energy is seeking the application due to recent rule changes which require self-suppliers to be licensed.
