Weekly PPL Residential Migration Ticks Higher

Weekly residential migration at PPL ticked higher in the most recent week, again approaching 3,000 customers.

Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 7/6/11 Report versus the 6/29/11 Report, as well as comparing the rate of migration in each of the past two weeks.

At PPL, new residential migration during the most recent week (June 26 to July 2) was 2,854, versus 2,493 in the immediately prior week.

The net weekly growth in residential migration at PECO from June 29 to July 5 (e.g. including the non-business day July 4 holiday) was 2,894, versus 4,325 in the immediately prior week.

West Penn Power saw weekly net growth in residential migration of 3,703 accounts, on par with the net growth of 3,984 in the immediately prior week.

Penelec saw a jump in the weekly net growth of residential migration to 1,501, from 982 in the immediately prior week.

Duquesne Light saw a net increase of 927 in migrated residential accounts for the most recent week, versus 1,155 in the immediately prior week.
