Border Energy Begins Offering Residential Electricity in Ohio

Border Energy Electric Services, Inc. has begun offering residential electric supply at Duke Energy Ohio.

Border Energy is offering Residential RS customers a guaranteed 18% discount off the Price to Compare through December 31, 2011, and then a fixed rate of 6.25 cents per kWh through December 31, 2012.

Border Energy said that it would soon offer residential electric service at Columbus Southern Power.

Border Energy offers commercial electric supply as well.

Border Energy, Inc. supplies about 30,000 natural gas customers in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, and had previously been brokering Ohio electric customers prior to acting as a load-serving supplier (see 12/9).
