Starion Energy Seeks Ohio Electric License, Reports Customer Count

Starion Energy PA Inc. applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Starion Energy said that it serves 34,000 customers in Connecticut, 8,000 customers in New York, and 10,000 customers in Pennsylvania and Maryland, as of June 30, 2011.


Interstate Gas Supply Receives Expanded Pennsylvania Gas License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Interstate Gas Supply an amended natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at Peoples Natural Gas Company LLC. Previously, IGS Energy was authorized to serve customers at Columbia Gas and National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation.


Priority Power Management Receives Pa. Broker License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Priority Power Management LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (6/8)


Utilities Analyses, Inc. Receives Pa. Broker License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Utilities Analyses, Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (5/24)


Energy Savers, Inc. Receives Expanded Pa. Broker License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Energy Savers, Inc. an amended electric broker license to include service to residential customers and commercial customers under 25 kW in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (4/12). Although Energy Savers, Inc. originally sought the license amendment to serve small customers in mixed meter situations, it later sought approval to interact with such customers directly, and the PUC granted such authority. Energy Savers, Inc. was previously authorized to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers.
