Massachusetts DPU Approves New Basic Service Rates at WMECO

The Massachusetts DPU approved new basic service rates for medium and large customers at Western Massachusetts Electric Company, for the three month period beginning October 1.

Basic service rates for medium and large commercial and industrial customers are below:

Monthly Variable Rate
October 2011: $0.06630 per kWh
November 2011: $0.07010 per kWh
December 2011: $0.08444 per kWh

Fixed Price Option
Oct. - Dec. 2011: $0.07411 per kWh

The rates above include the Basic Service Cost Adjustment and Uncollectible Tracker.

The rates apply to Rates G2, T4, T2, T5, PR, and Contracts.
