Nordic Energy Services Offering Customized Residential Pricing at ComEd

Nordic Energy Services, LLC, has begun offering customized electric pricing for residential customers at Commonwealth Edison.

The process will essentially be similar to the customization offered to small commercial accounts where, although the account is still settled on a load profile, Nordic is able to design a rate to take into account the customer's specific usage pattern.

The residential custom pricing will be based on a complete energy review.

"A one-size-fits-all pricing model does not provide residential customers maximum savings," said Jim Deering, President of Nordic Energy Services, LLC.

Deering said that the customization can result in savings up to 27% lower than ComEd.

All of the customized electric pricing offered to residential customers by Nordic will be fixed rates.
