The PUCT granted GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions, LLC an Option 1 retail electric provider certificate. The application was first reported in Matters (7/27). As only noted by Matters, GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions is a new subsidiary of GDF Suez Energy Resources NA formed to serve small volume electric customers, including in Texas residential customers.

North Shore Energy Consulting Seeks Ohio Gas Broker License

North Shore Energy Consulting, LLC applied for an Ohio natural gas broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.

Xpense Solutions Receives Ohio Broker License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted The Utility Store, Inc. d/b/a Xpense Solutions an electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (7/18).

Tomorrow's Utilities Seeks to Serve Residential Customers in Pa.

Tomorrow's Utilities, Inc. sought an amendment to its Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve residential customers and commercial customers under 25 kW. Tomorrow's Utilities is currently authorized to serve all other customer classes.
