Urso Energy Launches LowerYourElectricRate.com

Urso Energy LLC has launched a new online brokering website, LowerYourElectricRate.com.

The site currently lists residential electric offers in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.

Urso Energy said that Illinois and additional deregulated states will be added later this year.

Mark Urso, CEO of Urso Energy, also said that the site would eventually expand to natural gas brokering.

Suppliers currently offering residential service through the site include Starion Energy, Spark Energy, Viridian Energy, Public Power LLC, Clean Currents, and Verde Energy.

Commercial and industrial service is also available under a partnership with EMEX.

LowerYourElectricRate.com also offers a savings calculator and various informational resources for electric customers, such as links to outage maps and choice education material.
