Viridian Energy Seeking License to Serve Ameren Customers

As expected (9/2), Viridian Energy PA LLC is seeking to serve all customer classes at Ameren in its application for an amendment to its Illinois electric supplier license, first reported by Matters last week.


American PowerNet Management Receives Ohio Electric License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted American PowerNet Management, L.P. an electric supplier license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/2).


Mablock Consulting Seeks Pa. Broker License

Mablock Consulting d/b/a The Lock Group applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW and industrial customers in all service areas.


Coleman Hines Seeks Pa. Consulting License

Coleman Hines, Inc. applied at the Pennsylvania PUC for a license to act as an electric procurement consultant to a variety of customer classes (those with which it serves accounts nationally) in all service areas.


Discount Energy Group to Withdraw Pa. License

Citing a change in its business plan, Discount Energy Group, LLC informed the Pennsylvania PUC that it will not be entering the Pennsylvania electric market, and asked that its license be relinquished without prejudice to re-acquiring a license in the future. Discount Energy Group received its Pennsylvania electric supplier license in March (3/18), and has not contracted with any Pennsylvania customers since licensure.
