Exelon Announces Management for Competitive Business Post-Merger
Exelon today announced the senior executives that will be reporting directly to President and CEO Christopher Crane following completion of the proposed Exelon-Constellation merger.

In the Generation business, Crane will retain his title as president of Exelon Generation. Reporting to him in that organization will be the following leaders:

- Kenneth Cornew, currently senior vice president of Exelon and president of Exelon Power Team, who will become executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Exelon and president and CEO of Constellation upon the closing of the Exelon-Constellation merger, leading the competitive retail and commodities businesses. Kathleen Hyle, senior vice president of Constellation Energy, will continue to oversee the company's commercial businesses through the closing of the merger and will work closely with Cornew on integration activities. Hyle is in discussions about a potential senior role within Exelon following the transaction.

- Charles Pardee, currently COO of Exelon Generation, who will retain that title, leading the operations of the Exelon Nuclear and Exelon Power business units. Following the merger, Constellation's non-nuclear generating units will become part of Exelon Power.


Stream Energy Joins North Texas Commission

Stream Energy is joining the North Texas Commission, a premier business organization which promotes growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The North Texas Commission collaborates with regional stakeholders to strengthen public-private alliances, advancing an economically vibrant region. "We are very pleased to accept the invitation to join the North Texas Commission and look forward to actively cooperating on projects to help stimulate the Texas economy," said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. "The North Texas Commission is recognized as a who’s who of business leaders, with a distinguished history of accomplishments such as helping to bring the Super Bowl to North Texas. Stream Energy is proud to be included in their number," Snyder said.


PURA Stays CL&P Metering, TOU Docket,; UI Docket Not Affected

The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority has suspended Docket No. 05-10-03RE04 (Application of The Connecticut Light and Power Company to Implement Time-of-Use, Interruptible Load Response and Seasonal Rates – Review of Meter Study, Deployment Plan and Rate Pilot) to allow the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to set advanced metering policy. PURA has not suspended Docket 05-06-04RE06, addressing mandatory Time of Use rates for default service customers at United Illuminating (8/9), which DEEP itself had not sought to stay, but the Attorney General had sought to suspend, citing DEEP's motion in the CL&P docket.
