Resident Power Receives Maine License

The Maine PUC granted Resident Power Natural Gas & Electric Solutions, LLC an electric aggregator/broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. As first reported by Matters (9/16), Resident Power is an affiliate of Freedom Energy Logistics and Halifax American Energy.


Energy Choice Risk Management Seeks Ohio Broker License

Start-up Energy Choice Risk Management LLC applied for an Ohio electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. Its principals include John Deeds and Kenneth King. Deeds spent 16 years at Duke Energy Ohio and its predecessors in several different capacities including origination, and also held positions at Cinergy Retail Sales. King has 14 years experience trading physical and financial derivatives at the New York Mercantile Exchange, and previously worked in trading at Cinergy Services and Hess.

ClearChoice Energy Receives Ohio Broker License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Comperio Energy, LLC d/b/a ClearChoice Energy an electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (8/19).
