Hiko Energy, Alpha Gas and Electric Enter Partnership; Unnamed ESCO "Shell" for Sale

Alpha Gas and Electric has entered into a "partnership" with Hiko Energy, Hiko confirmed today.

The two companies are, at this time, looking to "expand" this partnership, but final details remain to be worked out.

The Hiko Energy logo now appears on the Alpha Gas and Electric website.

Hiko Energy was formerly known as Premier Energy Services LLC and offers electric and gas service in New York.

Alpha Gas and Electric offers electricity and gas in New York and New Jersey, and is also licensed in Pennsylvania.

A source close to Matters recently received an email soliciting interest in a
"[c]lean ESCO shell (no customers)" that was available for "immediate sale." The email described the unnamed ESCO as, "licensed in NY, NJ and PA - EDI tested with 9 utilities in NY and 4 utilities in N.J."
