Orange & Rockland Updates POR Discount

Orange & Rockland has filed annual updates to its electric Purchase of Receivables discount rate.

Effective November 1, 2011, the Uncollectibles Percentage in the POR Discount Percentage shall be set at 0.450%, and the Risk Factor component of the POR Discount Percentage shall be set at 0.090%.

A credit and collections component is also included in the POR discount, which will not be changed.

The resulting total POR Discount Percentage shall be 1.298%, effective November 1.

The Uncollectibles Percentages used in the calculation of the Merchant Function Charges will be 0.676% for residential customers and 0.151% for non-residential customers, effective November 1, 2011.
