Constellation Launches Commercial Gas Offers at PECO, PGW

Constellation Energy has launched non-residential natural gas service at PECO and Philadelphia Gas Works. Service to residential customers is not being offered at this time. Constellation could not confirm as of press time whether the non-residential service includes small business service, or is reserved for large volume customers. As has been previously reported by Matters, PECO will begin a POR program for natural gas service with no uncollectible discount rate (and very minimal implementation cost discount) in January 2012, which has prompted a number of suppliers to seek new or amended certification in anticipation of offering service. Viridian is among several providers confirming entry into the PECO gas market in January.
