Blue Pilot Energy Seeks Conn. Supplier License

Blue Pilot Energy, LLC applied for a Connecticut electric supplier license to serve all customer classes. As previously reported, Blue Pilot Energy is licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania (9/9), and has several pending electric/gas supplier applications in states such as Maryland. Blue Pilot Energy confirmed that it is not yet actively serving customers pending completion of coordination and RTO agreements. Blue Pilot Energy is an affiliate of several telecomm firms including NOS Communications, Blue Ridge Telecom Systems, LLC, and Affinity Networks, Inc.

Kansas Energy Changes Name to Trademark Merchant Energy

Kansas Energy LLC, which is licensed as a retail gas supplier in Ohio, has changed its name to Trademark Merchant Energy, LLC. As previously reported, Kansas Energy, now Trademark, is majority owned by Itochu Corp.

Netpique, LLC Receives Maryland Broker License

The Maryland PSC granted Netpique, LLC an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.

InSource Power Receives Ohio Broker License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted InSource Power Inc. an electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (7/6).
