Residential migration continues to be challenged at PPL, according to the latest stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From January 15 to January 21, PPL saw the number residential customers on competitive supply increase by 47 accounts, which is about half of the week-ago growth of 96 accounts.

Across all customer classes, PPL saw the number of customers on competitive supply decrease by 16 over the past week, due to the net loss of 64 commercial accounts on competitive supply, and net gain of one industrial customer on competitive supply.

At PECO, growth in residential migration for the most recent week was 3,400 accounts, nearly triple the week-ago growth of 1,250.

Met-Ed saw another strong week of residential customer migration growth, with a net increase of 4,400 residential customers on competitive supply, versus growth of 5,000 a week ago.

Penelec residential migration growth for the week was 2,550 accounts, versus 2,200 a week ago.

Duquesne Light residential migration growth for the week was 1,350 accounts, versus 2,350 a week ago.

West Penn Power residential migration growth for the week was 900 accounts, versus 850 a week ago.
