TXU SESCO Energy Services Now 4Change Energy Company

TXU SESCO Energy Services Company has undergone a change in name and corporate structure, it reported in an application to amend its Texas REP certificate.
The company, which holds REP certificate #10041, is now known as 4Change Energy Company. The company is affiliated with, but distinct from, TXU Energy Retail Company LLC, which holds REP certificate #10004.
Furthermore, 4Change, and its holding company, have moved from being subsidiaries of TXU Energy Retail Company LLC (which is a subsidiary of Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Company LLC, or TCEH) to being direct subsidiaries of TCEH. TCEH is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings Corp.
4Change Energy is also deleting the TXU SESCO Energy trade names from the REP certificate.
In 2010, TXU SESCO Energy Services Company said in a PUCT filing that it was not currently serving customers in the Texas competitive electric market, but anticipated serving customers under its certificate in the "near future." According to the most recent quarterly performance measures report, filed in February 2012, TXU SESCO Energy Services was not serving customers as of the fourth quarter of 2011.
John Geary, who has held a variety of senior management positions at TXU Energy, is listed as President of 4Change Energy Company.
Energy Future Holdings offering the following statement to Matters:
"Energy Future Holdings has updated an existing REP certificate that was approved a number of years ago. We will provide additional detail about our plans in the coming weeks and months."
