Iron Energy LLC Seeking Supplier Licenses in New State
Iron Energy LLC has applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license, and an Illinois alternative gas supplier license. For electric service, Iron Energy sought authority to serve all customer classes at ComEd and Ameren, and for gas service, Iron Energy sought authority to serve all customer classes at Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas. Iron Energy LLC, which launched last year, was founded and is led by David Luppino, Chad Gallun, and Michael Elhaj, who previously founded and led Texas retail provider Chain Lakes Power (Simple Power), which sold its ERCOT book to Cirro Energy last year. Iron Energy LLC is currently in the process of selling 50% of its interests to Circle Tree Energy Partners (see related story today)
Energy.ME Receives Supplier License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Smart Energy, LLC d/b/a Energy.ME an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
Hess Small Business Services Receives New License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Hess Small Business Services, LLC an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
Quest Energy Solutions Seeks License in New State
Kevin J. Cobb & Associates, Inc. d/b/a Quest Energy Solutions applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license.
