Volunteer Energy Services Receives Authority to Serve New Territories
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Volunteer Energy Services, Inc. an expanded natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at UGI Utilities, UGI Penn Natural Gas, UGI Central Penn Gas, and PECO Energy Company. Volunteer Energy Services had previously been licensed to serve such customers at Columbia Gas, Peoples Natural Gas, and National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation.
South Jersey Energy Company Receives Authority to Serve New Territories
The Pennsylvania PUC granted South Jersey Energy Company an expanded natural gas supplier licensed to serve all sizes of commercial and industrial customers at UGI Central Penn Gas, Columbia Gas, Equitable Gas, Peoples Natural Gas, and Valley Energy. South Jersey Energy Company had previously received authority to serve such customers at National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, PECO Energy Company, Philadelphia Gas Works, UGI Penn Natural Gas Inc. and UGI Utilities, Inc.
BTU Direct Marketing Receives License in New State
The Pennsylvania PUC granted BTU Direct Marketing, LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes at PECO.
5 Seeks License in New State
L5E, LLC d/b/a 5 applied for a District of Columbia electric broker license to serve all customer classes. As previously reported, L5E, LLC is comprised of several officers all formerly in senior positions at various retail suppliers, including First Choice Power, Juice Energy, and/or Constellation NewEnergy.
