Parties have filed an unopposed stipulation to establish reduced discretionary service charges applicable to retail electric providers at Oncor.

Services with reduced discretionary service charges under the proposal include Disconnect for Non-Pay, Reconnect After DNP, Out-of-Cycle Meter Read for the Purpose of a Self-Selected Switch, and others

Additionally, certain charges that were originally proposed to be increased (such as Standard Move-Ins) are now being maintained at the current level.

The amount for each charge can be found on page 5 of Oncor's filing (click here)

The reduced charges are the result of Oncor's annual filing to reflect lower costs of providing the services due to the deployment of advanced meters.

The revised level for the charges are supported by the Alliance for Retail Markets, TXU Energy Retail Company LLC, Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC, Office of Public Utility Counsel, Oncor, and Commission Staff.

The charges are to take effect 45 days after final Commission approval.
