Reliant Marketing 'Keep it Cool' Plan with 15% Discount, Free AC Tune Up

With summer approaching, Reliant has begun marketing a "Keep it Cool" electricity plan for Texas residential customers.

The plan provides customers with a 15% discount versus the otherwise applicable energy rate during the months of May through August, and a free AC Tune-Up from Allied Warranty, an affiliate of Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC.

At Oncor, Reliant's Keep it Cool plan features an all-in average rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 12.9¢/kWh for the months of January through April and September through December, and an all-in average rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 11.0¢/kWh for the months of May through August.

At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Reliant's Keep it Cool plan features an all-in average rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 13.9¢/kWh for the months of January through April and September through December, and an all-in average rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 11.9¢/kWh for the months of May through August.

The Keep it Cool plan is an indexed product with a 12-month term, with a $150 early termination fee.
