TXU Energy Offering 20% Off Certain Fixed Price Plans, $250 Enrollment Bonus TXU Energy has launched a promotion offering 20% off certain charges for the initial 12 months of a fixed price plan lasting 24 or 36 months.
Specifically, under the promotion, a 20% discount will apply to the energy charge and per kWh TDU Delivery Charges normally applicable under TXU's SecureSaver 24 and 36 month plans. The discount does not apply to the per-month base charge of $4.95, and per-month TDU Delivery charges, taxes, or one-time fees.
In the Oncor service area, TXU's SecureSaver 24 plan features an average all-in fixed rate of 14.4¢/kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage. During the period in which the discount is applied, the average all-in fixed rate is reduced to 11.8¢/kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage.
In the Oncor service area, TXU's SecureSaver 36 plan features an average all-in fixed rate of 14.8¢/kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage. During the period in which the discount is applied, the average all-in fixed rate is reduced to 12.1¢/kWh, at 1,000 kWh usage.
The plans include an early termination fee of $295.
Separately, TXU Energy is offering new customers a $250 bonus on certain plans for customers providing a promo code.
