Bounce Energy is offering a promotion to Texas customers waiving the monthly customer charge for retail electric service for customers electing an air conditioning protection plan through Bounce.

Under its Pre-Summer HVAC Promotion, Bounce will waive its $6.95 base charge from retail electric bills for June, July, and August for customers electing the A/C protection service, which is provided by Cross Country Home Services. The $6.95 base charge typically applies if customer usage is less than 2,000 kWh in a billing period.

The A/C repair coverage plan costs $14.95, with the charge added to the customer's electricity bill, and includes:

• A $1,000 annual claims expense cap

• A $35 deductible

• Coverage for most mechanical breakdowns and repairs on HVAC Systems

• No pre-inspection or systems age limit

• A 180-day repair guarantee

• Dispatch assistance for emergency or routine home repairs, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

• The ability to speak directly with a customer service specialist for immediate help

• Discounts of up to 15% on all non-covered A/C repairs, routine or emergency
