American Power Partners LLC applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
Texas REP Seeks to Use Trade Name Accel Electric
Clearview Electric, Inc. filed for an amendment to its Texas REP certificate to add the trade names Accel Electric and Clearview Energy to the REP certificate.
Direct Energy to Drop Trade Names Central Power and Light, West Texas Utilities from Certificates
Direct Energy filed for amendments to the Texas REP certificates of several of its retail energy companies to remove certain trade names. In particular, CPL Retail Energy sought to delete the trade name Central Power and Light and WTU Retail Energy sought to delete the trade name West Texas Utilities (neither of these two trade names had ever been used in marketing or sales activities), and Direct Energy LP sought to delete the trade name Energy America. Direct Energy also sought to relinquish the Gateway Energy Services Corporation REP certificate (10080), as the Gateway Texas customers were previously transferred to one of Direct Energy's other Texas brands.
